REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS

CHAMPIONSHIP
After a season of absolute destruction…of commanding control…of ascending power…James Burton just barely edged out Dave Mejia in the championship. James and his super-squad had gone 19 straight regular season weeks without losing a matchup before succumbing to Kevin Sharp one week before the start of the FKL Playoffs. Louder cheers have never been heard!
Dave found himself with 7x as many losses and without a win against James in the regular season, but that didn’t stop him from being 4 hits OR 14 saves away from an FKL championship. However, in the end, the better team won. This year will forever be remembered as the season where James drafted David Pastrnak for his breakout season in the 17th round, and Edmonton stud Cam Talbot (who had an anomalous season) in the final 18th. James’ 2016-17 season was one for the record books.
