CHAMPIONSHIP

3rd Championship.jpg

With a steel chair from behind!! Ladies and gentlemen, we’ve got ourselves a slobernocker! After acquiring some pieces throughout the year by intelligently trading, third seed Eric Inneo ran a dominant playoffs in which he took down his quarterfinal and semifinal opponents by a combined score of 19-10-3, nearly doubling up on his competition. Helping out in these rounds were goaltenders Marc-Andre Fleury and Sergei Bobrovsky, who each claimed an MVP honors. But the goaltending dominance didn’t stop there.

Once a reigning FKL champion, Colin Sydejko had constructed a statistically more dominant squad than his previous championship-winning roster, and ended the season 14-5-1. However, Colin hadn’t beaten Eric’s team during the regular season, going 0-2-0 against him and his goalie-focused group. In the championship, a third time was not a charm as Eric Inneo’s team took The Bra(y)den Bunch off the air in a stronger fashion than what the score may describe. Neal Before Claude!! Bow down to Claude Giroux, Connor McDavid, and the goaltenders from your nightmares! Eric Inneo is your 2017-18 Fantasy Keeper League Champion!
